BabyB is turning a year in just three short weeks. I'm wanting to make her own little cake so I have borrowed a few pans from Cindy to see which one I might use. But I'm thinking now those might be just too big for a little girl on her first birthday to do nothing with but smash it to pieces and enjoy the sweet taste of frosting and cake, so maybe I will just do a cupcake...

mmm...you just made me crave cake. Too bad none of my children's b-days are coming up. I say use a big one and a small one! I'm sure you could find someone to eat it. (:
Love the cupcake idea. Wish I would have thought of that the six times we enjoyed first birthday parties.
If you make the big one you can enjoy it too.... I'm always thinking when it come to cake. :D

Aww, so cute. I think you could use the #1 cakepan for your guests, and still give BabyB her own cupcake. It's definitely a good idea-I've seen my nieces and nephews get overwhelmed if the cake it too big. Looking forward to pictures of a cupcake smeared BabyB!
Isn't that the fun of it though! I made a chocolate cake for my girls and even with one piece, the it ended up completely everywhere. We have some great photos of it! Good luck choosing!
