Famished Friday - Cream Cheese Tarts
So we know they are very yummy and a big hit - so hide them while cooling :)
(no picture again sorry but just imagine individually wrapped little cheese cakes with the topping of your fancy)
Serves 12
2 (8oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 vanilla wafers
1 (21 ounce) can pie filling of your fancy
*Preheat oven to 350 *Place a paper cupcake liner in each cup (12 total) of muffin pan *Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.*Place vanilla wafer FLAT side down, in each muffin cup. Spoon cream cheese mixture over wafers filling each to about 1/4 inch from top of paper. *Bake for 20 minutes*Allow tarts to cool completely before filling. When you remove the tarts from the oven, they will be puffed up, but as they cool, the center will sink, creating the perfect well to fill with a couple of spoonfuls of your favorite filling.*Chill thoroughly before serving

Inch Worm and tunnel

SportyB had a soccer game on Saturday AM and he scored another goal! He is having so much fun this season and is really learning the rules of the game. After each game the parents form a tunnel and after the good sportsmen ship high fives the kids from both teams come running over and go through. I caught it on film this past weekend.
I think this is the highlight of the game for the kids

Where to begin
I thought these were fun pictures back on the 5th of March after dinner I was doing a few things in my closet and brought babyB along. I had a balloon in there and she found entertainment between that and my shoes.
on the 7th we took a drive down to St. George to their annual chili cook off we had a good time and SportyB even managed to get in the water - brrrr
So on the 12th I was going to take a half day from work and take Friday the 13th off for SportyB's birthday, before I was about to leave work for my weekend they informed me my position had been eliminated (nice huh) So I came home with all my boxes and figured it was 5 o'clock somewhere, right? To make the most out of a cra-apy day my sister and I hung out by the pool with a few brew-ha-ha's.. it got kind of warm so we had the bright idea to jump in the pool. After SEVERAL minutes of making sure the other WAS going and if we were going to go ON 3 or 3 then go and how exactly we were going to jump in - because that is important - we finally did it.. and man oh man was it cold and I refused to do it again.. but we did it
Also to help make my day a little brighter my sister got me these - aren't they pretty? They made such a great centerpiece for all the company we had
