A little Catch-me-up

Wow what a week+ it's been.. but glad to be back to let all know we are here, home and back to business as usual. Just for a little cliff note recap KingB was admitted in the hospital on ever so lucky Friday 13th due to an infection in his arm (and yes while we were waiting in the ER he asked 'are you going to blog about this?' sorry honey but I have to at least explain where we've been in the blog world). We arrived at 7:30pm and waited.. and waited.. and waited to be seen after the long process we were admitted/in our room by 4AM. Waited some more since it was the weekend. The doctors all knew and agreed they were going to have to go in to clean out the infection, however it wasn't going to be that easy of course as it was in the arm that KingB has hardware.. and if you get infection in the hardware that is bad news. They thought it was going to be a two step surgery (Monday/Thursday) and remove all the hardware, however after the trauma surgeon went in, it was good news. None of the hardware was infected and he wasn't going to need the second surgery. THANK GOODNESS.. He's home and doing well but dealing with the daily hassle of having to go to the hospital to get IV meds for the next 6 weeks. But he's home YEAHHH..

Here is a picture of the kids on Valentine's Day. Daddy still prepared for the special day and got SportyB a balloon and some candies and QueenB chocolate and a card. We had steaks already marinating so QueenB fired up the grill and delivered steaks/broccoli (still warm I might add) to KingB in the hospital.

Thank you to all those that helped out during the week with the kids, brought food to the hospital and offered to do everything they could to help. We have an amazing group of friends/family - Thank you so much.

Glad he is all right, and OF COURSE there would be blogging. However, no pics? Or, did he confiscate the camera?
