Holy Banana-Spider (Miller)

So I was driving home the other day down our driveway looking out at the woods and slammed on the breaks and put it in reverse because I couldn't believe what I had just seen. Never before have I experienced such a HUGE spider. I got the kids unloaded safely in the house, grabbed my camera and headed back down the driveway. My camera was focusing on everything else BUT the massive thing in the center of it's enormous web and I wasn't about to get any closer - so I text KingB saying how HUGE it was; (he calmly told me to call pest control but I told him it was outside) the size of a small mouse.. the palm of my hand!!... And when he got home he needed to get a picture of it! So after he got home we headed back down the driveway and I pointed from far away and said 'THERE' he proceeded to tell me it was JUST a Banana-Spider and that it was harmless.. HOWEVER, I think anything that big and creepy looking is by far harmless.. He got some great pictures of it as it is rather impressive - almost big enough to be given a name, I mean it would fit in with the family Banana-Spider Miller. P.S The next night I came across a SMALL snake in the garage.. Did I mention I don't do the great outdoors very well as I don't like critters, creepy-crawlers or anything slimy, jumpy or anything else that falls in those categories. And the day after that there was a MASSIVE grasshopper on the side of my car (size of my entire hand).. yeah guess it just wasn't my week.
