As most of you know I have married chefboyardee-Miller who loves to cook and does an amazing job. However, with me being home earlier in the evenings I have been trying to have dinner ready so he doesn't have to worry about it after getting home. I've really enjoyed my Kraft Food & Family magazine - and I received my Fall issue. Last night I made the below recipe and thought it was REALLY yummy:
Pork Chops with apples and stuffing
Prep: 10min Total: 50min Makes: 6 servings
What you need:
1 pkg (6oz) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1 can (21oz) apple pie filling
6 boneless pork loin chops
How to make it:
Heat oven to 375. Prepare stuffing as directed on package. Spread pie filling onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with chops and stuffing. Cover with foil. Bake 30 min; uncover. Bake an additional 10 min or until chops are cooked through - Enjoy

OH, OH, OHHHHHH.... I just did this without the stuffing. Unfortunately I went to the store to get the great thick chops on sale and buy the stuffing along with about 5 other things needed that day. Came home with everything else EXCEPT the stuffing and we live to far to just run back to the grocery store. Oh well, the chops were yummy with the pie filling.
I also get the KRAFT magazine and absolutely love it.
Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat stuff! ing
I love that magazine Barbi!!! I will try that one.. I married a chef too.. I am always trying to think of fun things to make...
Hey there! I'm glad you like the headbands! They make my bald little beauties actually look like little girls! My mom bought the ones in the pictures you posted to at a craft fair in Utah, but luckily she swiped the lady's business card...here's her website and blog…www.hatsandflowers.com & http://chicanduniqueboutique.blogspot.com/. I also stumbled across this website with similar stuff… http://www.coccoletta.com/. A lot of the headband though I make myself (like the big red ones on the sidebar pic) using stuff from craft stores. I usually purchase the flowers at Michaels and the elastic headbands at JoAnne’s Fabric. I’ve also seen people use tights (like from WalMart) for the headband part and attach flowers using a clip or hot glue! I’d recommend that approach (it’s more cost friendly)! Anyways, good luck let me know if you have any other questions! :)
