Holidays - Looney Style

Do you ever wonder if the craziness around the holidays make people feel they should be admitted? (I probably shouldn't joke) but I think I've become border holiday looney (no comments honey). So with the madness of getting ready for the holidays on top of the every day business of things I often feel I'm loosing my mind (no comments honey). We are talking LOONEY-TOONS LOONEY - just call me Daffy Duck would ya.. for work we had a holiday luncheon last week and I was going to make a pie.. a 3 ingredient pie.. very simple right?!? Right! So since it's only 3 ingredients I can remember them, right?! So KingB was stopping by Publix and asked if I needed anything - ohh yes, please pick up sour cream and 1 lrg box instant vanilla pudding and graham cracker crust (already had the coconut at home). When I get home, I find my ingredients X2 (cause he wanted me to make one for him as well). So after we get the kids down I start my SIMPLE 3 ingredient pie... stirring, stirring - hmmm something doesn't seem right. (sad to even admit this but) pulled out my instructions.. yeah I have everything.. hmm wonder what's wrong, something isn't right here.. Clump it in the pie crust.. what in the world did I do wrong with my SIMPLE 3 ingredient pie.. pulled out my instructions again.. (yeah so sad to admit it not once but twice!) - with trying to spread it over the pie crust it broke in 5+ places.. so discourage I opened the trash and in it went and sat myself on the couch discouraged ....... heard KingB in the fridge and said 'honey where is the pie?' grrrrrrrrr.. So last night (a week later mind you) out of the BLUE it hit me! S.M.A.C.K - DUH I forgot the crushed pineapple - the main ingredient to the 2minute Hawaiian pie.. and yes it clearly says it on the directions as one of the 3 ingredients... ahhh loven the holidays. But I bet I never forget the ingredients to that easy pie again.. well not this year anyway :)
