Christmas on Turkey Day

Since Grammie and Other G-ma were up for Turkey Day we decided to do our Christmas at the same time as they wanted to see the kids open the presents and hey, who doesn't like more then one Christmas. We had told SportyB that we would do Christmas after we cleaned up the kitchen after we ate our dinner - this was to avoid the constant 'can we do Christmas? When are we going to do Christmas? Can we open presents?' and I must say it worked rather well. He said after breakfast 'mama we are doing Christmas after we eat and after we clean the kitchen right?' and I reassured him that was when we were doing it. So we enjoyed our meal and we were sitting around the table visiting with our company and talking and SportyB politely asked if were were still doing Christmas after we cleaned the kitchen, I replied yes and he said 'can you please stop talking so we can clean the kitchen' LOL we got a kick out of it but also got in gear. While we were cleaning the kitchen he sat in the middle of the living room by the presents and waited.. SportyB made out this year as he got to open his sisters presents too.. but of course he found all the ones with his name on it and made sure to open them first.. then he helped everyone else.

He got the transformer movie and it came with his mask - he's watched his movie everyday since. We can't wait for the second one to come out
Did you know that is snowed in Florida?? SportyB got a cool travel luggage and it came completely packaged with TONS of packing peanuts.. so KingB thought it would be fun to pour them all over. SportyB had a blast and even helped clean them all up.
Thank you Grammie and Other G-ma for all our presents and help around the house. The kids enjoyed your visit and look forward to the next one.
