So I thought it would be fun to share recipes on a weekly basis so I asked a few friends from work to help me come up with a few ideas on what to call my recipe sharing day... Since I'm already doing SPT on Tuesdays we had to think of something create for another day. We came up with:
Tasty Thursday
Famished Friday
Sunday Delight
AND the winner is Famished Fridays (thank you to my good friend Charlie for the idea of Famished Fridays - {how's that?lol })
So my first recipe is one of our family favorites that was given to me from my good friend Kim. This is some good comfort food.. It feeds a lot and is great over rice - YUMMY
Poppy Seed Chicken
4 chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1 can corn (drained)
1 pkg ritz crackers (or you can use saltines)
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 stick of butter
Cook chicken and shred or chop up. Mix chicken, soup, corn and sour cream. Put in 13x9 baking dish. Crush ritz crackers; mix with poppy seeds. Place on top of chicken mixture. Pour melted butter over cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
Leave us a comment when you have tried it at home and see you in a week with another Miller Family Favorite.
